FLATHHEAD-INLINE-GASSERS RACING

The VDRA incorporates "The Flatheaders of Denver" and "The Vintage Timing Association" into one progressive drag racing club for flathead and non-electric pushrod Inline type engines. We invite all makes and models of USA and Foreign engines within these two categories to join.
Our Vehicles range from dragsters to sedans and we do not have a restriction on the type of car. All race cars must pass a track technical inspection and be in conformance with NHRA (http://www.nhra.com) rules for the times and speeds being run.
While our primary purpose is promoting nostalgia drag racing in ET classes our yearly Flathead-Inline High Altitude Nationals has a 'heads up" pro tree unlimited class for those you enjoy competing in the original drag racing concept. Held at Bandimere Speedway (http://www.bandimere.com/index.php) in Denver, Colorado, this national meet is the largest Flathead-Inline event in the United States.
