WESTON JR COMP SERIES

The next generation of the Jr. Drag Racing League... Jr. Comp dragsters follow NHRA rules for Jr. Dragsters, but offer additional opportunities to run quicker, with older drivers, and more classes.
* Open to Jr. Comp dragsters per the 2009 NHRA Jr. Rulebook.
* Open to drivers ages 14-20. Driver may compete the year of their 20th birthday.
* 0.500 pro tree, with a 6.90 index, 1/8 mile racing, breakout rules apply.
* Courtesy Staging required. No pull-backs. No deep staging. Blue light tree.
* Vehicles qualify closest to index and placed on sportsman ladder in round one.
* Drivers must have NHRA competition license to compete.
* Driver 16 years of age and older may compete in additional classes.
* Trophies to Winner, Runner-Up, & Semi-finalists. Series champion prizes.
* Ten events in 2009.
