Best of Detroit Footbrake Nationals presented by Automotive Performance Center
Race classes for all Detroit-born footbrake vehicles: CHEVROLET, FORD, MOPAR, and BUICK/OLDS/PONTIAC. Each Manufacturer's Cup Champion will race-off to become the "Best of Detroit"! Event also features Sunoco King Street, Fastlane Automotive Stick Shift, and the USP Heads-up racing.

Gates Open: 8:00 am, Time Runs Begin: 8:30 am, Eliminations: 1:30 pm
- Chevy, Ford, Mopar, and Buick/Olds/Pontiac all run in their own eliminator class. These four "Manufacturer's Cup" classes race for trophies and class jackets. The four Cup Champions race off in a "Best of Detroit" run-off.
- All door cars must leave on the footbrake. No transmission brakes. No delay boxes or throttle stops. Manual transmission vehicles permitted.
- DOT tires OR slicks permitted. Open exhaust is permitted.

2010 "Best of Detroit" was Janice Sipes in her Chevy Corvette!
2009 "Best of Detroit" was Lane Weber in his Buick Skyhawk!
